OF BOTTLES AND SAND

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

An engaging and compelling story of Eydie who is happy and content in her teaching career; but constantly confronted by scars left by old emotional wounds. She fiercely believes that her failures in her relationships were repercussions of her culpability and that her subsequent relationships will fail as well. So she resolved to live a life without a man – a life of solitude in the cloisters of the nunnery.
A friendly alliance with Al subjected her to vicious ire, jealousy, and intrigues. His arctic aloofness charmed most of the female faculty assuming that behind his façade lurks a passionate and mysterious nature. And among them was a inarticulate challenge to whoever catches his eye and be wooed by him.
A wanted more than just Eydie’s friendship. “You must not be a statistic in my life, Al your friendship is more precious to me than your offer of love and marriage.”
Will true love prevail upon the confining walls of the convent? Will it seep through the test of time toward a cherished end?
